Requesting valuable contributions for the renovation of the old dilapidated building of the primary section. St. Joseph’s Higher Secondary School, Anjengo. 
                As you might be well aware, Anjengo School has a chequered history of 119 years, which has to be remembered along with the history of our remote village of Anjengo and the adjacent areas. The school started only with an LP section in the year 1893. It has since been grown and developed with 1500 students as an institution with the stature of a higher secondary school namely the present St. Joseph’s HSS Anjengo. The condition of old primary section is really pathetic and dangerous now.  
                Our desire is to preserve and renovate the century old heritage structure without totally destroying it. The rough cost of renovation is estimated at Rs. Ten lakhs by expert architects.
                The teachers and PTA members collected an amount of Rs. 1, 30,000 from Anjengo parish ones. We also got an amount of Rs. 30,000 from our poor children. The school authorities, teachers, students and whole parish are really at a loss on how to raise the rest of the fund. In this context it is our cherished dream that the valuable help from the kind hearted NRI’s hailing from this area will abundantly help us in realizing this noble dream. We feel that you will help this school of the poor children to compete with the other schools infrastructure.
                We firmly wish and hope that you will come forward to donate liberally for this humble venture of bringing up our school belonging to the poorest of the poor fishermen and their children on a par with the educational institutions in other developed areas.
