Parish day

Today (29.6.09) is St.Peter's day. It is also the Parish day. But the celebrations will be held on next sunday. As a custom most of the people do not go for fishing to day.

Feast begins

This year onwards the flag hoisting ceremony will be conducted on fridays insted of treditional thursdays.

With hope

In this monsoon season fishermen are happy as they get good catch of sqids. Here some fishermen are mending there nets for the next luck.

Doves cottage

Doves cottage (Malika veedu) is the most oldest house in Anjengo. It have the age of 102. Now the owner of this house is Mr.Cliffy.

The new fishmarket near the junction. It is the 2nd private fishmarket in Anjengo. The owner is sri. Jackson
